In November 2024, Grupo Royal Holiday—one of the founding companies of AMDETUR and a major player in the Latin American vacation club industry—acquired Raintree Vacation Club, including its three iconic Club Regina resorts, which at the time served approximately 23,000 members. This acquisition expanded Royal Holiday's portfolio from 14 to 17 proprietary developments, adding 3,000 rooms across Mexico, the United States, and Argentina.
