Common Complaints:

  • Salesperson promises to buy back the timeshare at a better price should the client ever decide that they no longer want to use it.
  • Salesperson promises that they can rent out their weeks for over 4 times the price of the maintenance fee. They can choose to use some weeks and rent others so that they have free vacations, or rent them all so that they can pay off their membership quicker. The clients are referred to a rental company that charges them a listing fee to market the property and does not rent any weeks.
  • In the presentation, they claim that the all-inclusive is for corporate weeks only, and for regular weeks they can choose whether or not to pay for the all-inclusive. In reality, all-inclusive is mandatory for usage at all their Cancun locations.

    Please dont get caught, avoid their timeshare presentations, actually me and my husband were fighting against them for the cancellation, we cannot afford the maintenance fees anymore.

    2006 we purchased at Fisherman Village. In 2012 we upgraded to a promised Fisherman Village II, paying cash for the new proposed property. At year 5 now, they have yet to start construction and have locked us out of our account because we refuse to pay a once/5 year fee for the upgrade. Since there is nothing to upgrade trying to figure out how they can substantiate this charge. Does anyone have an attorney that has any success in getting through to this group.

    They are not maintaining Fisherman's to the promised standard. Roofs were leaking and a whole building had to be evacuated. One family was locked out of their room for 2 days because the door to their room corroded. Paint is peeling. Loud AC unit kept us up all night. Room couches were replaced with cheap plastic couches. Towels, snorkel gear, and body boards were broken or overly worn.

    Plus all the standard lies- value has increased dramatically (lie), we can sell our week and VIP week to them or any other broker for well over maintenance cost (lie), we would have full access to Tres Rios when finished (lie).

    Cada vez que intento hacer una reservación dicen que no hay disponibilidad. No me explican cómo puedo hacer para rentar mis semanas y me siguen cobrando manuntencion como si realmente me dejaran usarlo./ su personal es de lo más grosero e incompetente.
