Saludos deseo informacion de como poder cancelar una membresia que adquiri con Royal Holiday debido a que en este momento no tengo trabajo y me es imposible seguir pagando. Ya intente hablar con ellos directamente para cancelar mi membresia pero parece imposible lograrlo a  traves de ellos no son muy sensibles ni comprensibles, lo unico que les interesa es su dinero.

We have been owners with Royal Holiday since 2006. Since then we have upgraded twice because we were told that more time would allow us to rent out some of our time and it would then pay for our yearly dues. We were charged a fee one year because of the damage from hurricanes in the costal area. We tried to rent out our time and found that we would need to pay $300 each year to rent it out and may not get it rented. We also tried to rent our time through another group that our sales person recomended. That cost us $650 and we did not get any of our time rented. Me llama ahora una señorita y me dice que salí "beneficiada"... con un ticket de consumo en el resturant y una estadía.

Como me tienen cansada estas estafas ya no quería oir más y resolver el tema del supuesto "premio", al decir la palabra "premio"la niña que me llamó me dijo que esto no era un premio y que si yo no sabía la diferencia entre premio y beneficio... ULTIMAAAA, después criticó que no haya leído en totalidad el maldito cupón y que haya puesto mis datos personales....

A mi tambien me estafaron vendiendo esta membrecia pero mi caso tiene una variante, por que nos trataron de convencer por todos las maneras hasta que se les ocurrio decirnos que si de plano no teniamos con que pagar, ellos nos tramitaban una tarjeta con American Express para pagar el enganche nos hicieron el contrato y nunca se autorizo la tarjeta y ahora nos vienen con la cosa de que si no pagamos se va a un juridico, yo estoy curado de espantos con esto de las demandas, pero que manera de estafar a la gente tiene estos de holiday

We are Brazilians and We were recently in Mexico, and We bought a travel plan (Royal Holiday Thimeshare) . Like all reports that we see on this site, we were also deceived. However, we did not pay yet. Just leave a check from a Brazilian bank as collateral. The check is completed in dollars and has no value in Brazil, because our law does not permit checks completed in currencies other than the Brazilian. Thus, I wonder if Royal Holiday Thimeshare can charge us in court, in view of the signed contract. The Group usually do this? Thank you for your attention

Tengo una membresia con Royal Holiday y la tengo de hace 3 años y me faltan 3 por pagar en dolares y viendo que sube el dolar como espuma pues nunca voy a acabarles de pagar, el mayor engaño que me hiciero fue que me iban a respetar el tipo de cambio al dia que firmara el contrato y se iba a quedar fijo para todo el credito, lo cual no fue cierto porque me cobran a como este el dolar al dia que hacen el cargo.

We purchased a timeshare at Grand Solmar and traded in our RH property by paying them a fee of $2,000. We were told that the RH property was immediately listed for sale with a timeshare broker and we no longer owned it. Now we are getting collection calls saying our RH contract was never paid off. When we were given our paperwork at the close of the sale, the paper we signed turning the RH property over to Grand Solmar was missing, but we didn't realize that until two months later. The salesperson we bought it from says, "Don't worry about it--it won't go on your credit report." Grand Solmar says "We don't know anything about that trade-in". We are paying Grand Solmar and want to keep that property, but the RH people are driving us crazy and we do not want that contract any more.

I purchased a seven night vacation at The Royal Cancun during a timeshare presentation for Royal Resorts  Upon returning home from vacation 5 days later, I went online and discovered I was charged double the rate to stay at this resort. I immediately contacted customer service and cancelled my stay at The Royal Cancun and Contacted Visa to dispute the $4000 down payment I was charged. I was assured by Royal Resorts that my account would be cancelled, I would owe nothing and receive my down payment back. A month later I received a bill in the mail from Royal Resorts. I contacted customer service again and was assured it was only a mistake and I owed nothing, at this time they mailed a letter to me showing my account was closed and my account balance is $0. I begin to think I am finally out of this scam until a month later when Visa calls to inform me that my down payment still has not been refunded. I call customer service again and again and keep getting the run around and am told someone will call me back (which never happened). Upon my last call to customer service they finally tell me they have no plans on refunding the down payment I made.

We paid the entire fee upfront only to get the information book afterwards and realize we had been lied to over and over in the presentation. As soon as we were home from our vacation (I believe 3 days) I started to correspond with them. I have saved all of my emails and dates of phone calls. After about 1 year I gave up. We were even willing to somewhat of a loss on our money if they would cancel. It was impossible to reach people and I would be on hold for 10 mins. and the phone line would go dead. My husband did not want to pay the yearly dues this year and of course we got a notice from a collection agency. We paid. Since joining we have only used some bonus points we were given for a 3 day stay in New York City.This past winter we were going to go away and we could find a cheaper vacation on line then go through Royal Holiday.

 I signed up a timeshare contract with Royal Holiday in Mexico a few years ago. I paid $12,000 down payment but I changed my mind as I heard alot of many things about this timeshare. So i didn't pay the remaining payments but they put it onto my credit report even though I have not used any of the timeshare services. These scams are out there and the people behind them certainly don't care about you financially or other. There needs to be something done to prevent this from continuing with other vacationers.

Bought Royal Holiday timeshare in Cancun 2008.  The hotels are never available the dates you want them and they said the AI was $60pppn for an armband even though you are using your points to go there.  The maintenance fee has gone up each year even though the timeshare is paid in full now.  I was told it was willable to any family members as it was a lifetime membership??  I feel quite depressed now after reading all these complaints, surely there is a way to get some if not all of your money back??

tuve esa experiencia con maya resort en mazatlan sinaloa, yo solo les di 1000 pesos para apartar la membresia, y solo por que me insistieron como 5 horas y no me dejaban salir sin ninguna respuesta, despues de 15 dias me hablaban para pagar el resto o si no le vantarian una demanda en mi contra, hable con mi vanco y les comente todo y les pedi que bloquearan cualquier cobro de ellos, y sobre la demanda les dije que la pusieran que fueran a donde vivo e hicieran lo conrrespondiente, no paso nada, ellos no vana ir a poner la demanda por incumplimiento por que tendrian que presentar el contrato y no les conviene eso, les aconsejo a todos en esa situacion que dejen de pagar y esperen la disque demanda, ya lo perdido del dinero dejenlo asi y no pierdan mas, les aseguro que es la unica forma de slirce, ha y otra cosa si ellos tienen el cargo automatico a su tarjeta, cancelen ña tarjeta y ya si se puede

I purchased a timeshare through Royal Holidays and was promised 4 weeks free in Mexico each year.  when I tried to book for my free time I was told that it would cost me a service charge of $63.00 per night per person which is no deal at all.  This company used my credit card and my sisters credit card to the tune of about $800.00 in one month and could not find where the money went.  when I asked for statement of account they gave me the run around.  I didn't here from them for a number of months and now they are starting to harass me again wanting my credit card number. they say this is the only way they can except payment on my account.  As you can see I am relunctant to give them my number because of what happened the last time.  I just want out of this scam How do I do that.

We bought a membership at Royal Holiday and  Our Royal Holiday ownership certificates state that the ownership is only for 30 years, however we were told it was a lifetime ownership. I asked via email to get these re-printed and shipped to reflect such. Our Sales Rep emailed back more peddling gibberish. - We were informed that this was an investment (the main, main reason for purchasing) and was told it could be easily rented or sold for double to triple the value, of course all was a lie.

I attended a timeshare presentation. I gave them a down payment  in the amount of $3000. I was told it was a resale and as such, I had no right to cancel within the 5 day grace period they normally allow. They asked me to sign a waiver form in which I did foolishly. They didn't give me a copy of the waiver form with the contract they gave me. I expressed my buyers remorse with them and ask if I could receive my money back only to get a "sorry you signed the waiver form." This ruined my experience in Mexico and I have been sick to my stomach and haven't slept ever since. My biggest concern in this matter is my credit. I don't want to give them another penny yet if I don't they'll ruin my credit!

Royal Holiday timeshare scam be careful, they will promise to sell back weeks so you can make money while owning their timeshare.This will not happen. They will take your money and you will get nothing but headaches in return. They are dangerous people!!

I went to Royal Holiday on May 17, 2010.  I bought into their scam of them stating they would sell my timeshare for $20,000 and there were also many verbal promises for additional weeks and other promotions.  Right now I am still talking to Bank of America .  According to Mexican law I have 5 days to cancel this purchase.  So far Royal Holiday does not agree to this 5 day cancellation.  Please let me know any information you have that can help me resolve this problem.

We were told that the Royal Holiday would purchase our four timeshare weeks from us. They promised to pay us a total of $25,000 for the four weeks. They had a contract with the prices they would pay for our weeks but we were not given a copy. We were also not given copies of our credit application and we were not told that we were applying for Bank of America credit cards.

When we were there October 2008, we were misled by the rep. we wanted to cancel the contract right away but they wouldn't let us saying it's against law, we have not used the resort at all since and now found out we could have canceled it. we paid in full coz we didn't want to have a bad credit. They transfer my original Whydom time share when we signed up the contract as well. we paid a rental company which Royal Holiday recommended-they said it would be rented out in high prices (as a good investment) with no problem, but nothing ever have happened, time has passed and we have wasted our money and weeks.

I have been scammed by Royal Holiday I need to get out of my timeshare that I have not used in over 12 years but keep paying the maintenance fees. My timeshare is paid off, but it is a waste of money on maintenance fees if I don't use the property.  I have the same problem than the  other, they promised me rental income and nothing happened.

I have probably the same experiences from what I have read. They invited us to a presentation in order to get the Xcaret package and we accepted. During the presentation they talk to you like if is the best package in the world and showing you the points that you need and what is inclusived, etc. The reason we accepted was basically because they told us that the all inclusive packages inlcluded the hotel stay and meals. But they never told us that we will have to pay for that everythime; otherwise, I will never accept to this. Now when I am trying to make a reservations they tell me that is cheaper to buy the all you can eat package than using my 60,000 points that I bought. Why did I buy the points if I have to pay for the all inclusive? They lied to us and did not explain exactly how the package works or anything about the annual memberships.  I am very dissapointed with the way they scamed us and how they painted all the scneario to make you fall for it. The monthly payments are outrageous and can not pay them, and the maintenance fee is a rip off. I contacted the finance office of Royal Holiday to downgrade the membership but they did not accept it and make me obligated to find another way get rid of tihs problem 

I want to cancel this membership immediately and try to revover my $15,000 that I gave as a downpayment back in April 2010, since I will not pay a dime more to this unscrupulous people. I think we all should join forces with this lawyer to do a big action law suit and keep this companies away from the americans. Also, I will like to see the State Department issuing an official notification to all travel agencies and travelers to remain americans to stay away from these time share companies overseas and create a law to remove imposed charges by these companies.

I will just hope I can get out of this mess. I already contacted timeshare scams to see if we can start the cancellation process.

compramos una membresia en  Royal Holiday hace 3 años y nos gustaria cancelarla porque, no nos esta funcionando, nunca la usamos y es mucho gasto para nosotros. Aunado a esto los vendedores nos dijeron muchas cosas las cuales no se han cumplido ni se van a cumplir porque ya nos lo pusieron muy en claro, dicen no ser responsables por las mentiras que nos hecharon sus vendedores  y que debimos leer el contrato. We still haven't received our welcome pack with instructions and information about what we paid for so we are pretty sure that we got scammed.  We just bought it in March 2011. Called credit co. to cancel but they said we could not.Went to Profeco on January 18, 2010.Filed papers ,went to Post Office,sent letter via registerred letter-return receipt requested .Rep from Royal Holiday signed receipt of cancellation request.Profeco has had 3 meetings with RH,and they proposed refund stretched out over 6 mos.,with 1st payment in early may 2011. Yo adquirí con Royal Holiday un tiempo compartido he pagado  mas del 60% sin poder cancelar. Les comento también que cuando comenzó el problema de la crisis hipotecaria en EUA, nosotros cambiamos la deuda con ellos  de USD a pesos. De esto lo más molesto además de no poder cancelar por tener la deuda por escrito en un pagare, es el tener que pagar el mantenimiento supuesto de las instalaciones y el ser forzados a pagar siempre los alimentos en los sitios disponibles, ya que los que no son obligatorios con all inclusive, nunca están disponibles. Tengo más de 2 años con este problema sin poder salir del circulo vicioso.

We were scammed by Ryan Garber at Royal Holiday. We cancelled within the 5 day period and he is not refunding the money. We have a signed document from him stating that the $3000.00 would be refunded. He doesn't respond to emails. We are planning to go back again and speak to him face to face again. So we have send email within 3 days and also send fax to them for cancelling the contract. But now they are saying we cannnot cancel the contract.

We don't have a lot of the paperwork that showed us what they were promising to do. I agreed to purchase a timeshare from the Royal Holiday in Cancun on September 7, 2010 while on vacation in Mexico. I provided a large down payment by credit card.  Now that I have arrived back home in the US, I did some research and see hundreds of complaints about the company, service, and their fraudulent practices. I looked in my folder of the paperwork provided and do not see any of the figures that were shown to me during the presentation. The figures provided in the contract that I do have are different than what was discussed verbally, are per person, and include all kinds of fees that were not discolosed at the time of the purchase. I was also coerced into signing a waiver of my 5 day cancellation right, but a copy of that document was never given to me.

Pague una membresia con Royal Holiday, hace un año intente cancelarlo porque no podia pagarlo , me dijeron que este contrato es incancelable y que solo se podia traspasar. En este año trate de hacer uso de mis puntos que tenia acumulados y nunca hubo cupo y solo podia utilizar en forma d todo incluido y se tendria que pagar aparte totalmente y directo con el hotel. En este mes  practicamente terminaria de pagar la membresia, y empezaria pagar las cuotas anuales que segun ellos se incrementaran año con año. Aparte de que no tienen disponibilidad para los "socios" hacen llamadas amenazantes de que pague, Cuando ya habia hechos el pago correspondiente.

En Noviemnbre del 2008, representantes de Royal Holiday nos vendieron un timeshare a $30,000 de los cuales pagamos alrededor de $15,000. Segón Royal Holiday ellos iban a apoyarnos en la rentabilidad de los timeshares y darnos servicios. Firmamos una documentación financiera que acordaba que Royal Holiday iba a deducir de nuestra cuenta bancaria la mensualidad del acuerdo. A finales del 2009, al intentar utilizar los servicios de Royal Holiday nos indican que no se nos puede dar servicio pues por error de Royal Holiday no habia cobrado mensualidades. Tratamos de probar que esto no era cierto. en ese momento solicitamos cancelación del contrato y no hemos podido encontrar a nadie en Royal Holiday que pueda solucionarnos.  A pesar de la cantidad pagada, nunca hemos podido satisfacer o tener servicios de Royal Holiday. En este momento queremos limpiar nuestro credito y que no siga apareciendo como que le debemos algo a Royal Holiday.

Timeshare scam by Royal Holiday in Cancun. we sent a legal document to Royal Holiday, a couple of days after we returned home, to cancel our membership and naturally it was ignord. I've stopped payments due December 20 and the calls have already started. The collection agency calls everyday.
