tengo un "contrato" con global quest el cual no se ha cumplido lo que se me prometio, desde un inicio a sido un batallar para el sistema de cobro, por lo que me gustaria cancelar este servicio. De acuerdo al contrato dice que lo puedo hacer, pero citando esta clausula con ellos me dicen otra cosa.

Recent visit to the Omni Cancun Resort and went to the vacation club tour, and signed a contract for a 15 week package on 12/1/11. I tried to cancel on 14/4/11 in person at the resort and was told I would lose my $5,959.50 deposit by the sales rep.

My Avalon contract has cost me money, heart ache: and a loss of sleep. I have never even stayed at the Avalon Grand or used the timeshare. I paid the $4225 promissory note off early to avoid an unreasonable $4.75 proessing fee (whoever heard of that)  Maintenance fees quickly rose from $390 to $528. When I did not make my 2010 maintenance payment on time, (I was on vacation-no excuse) resortcom added 10% interest per month. I called to offer to pay the original amt but not the 10% interest. they put me on hold. After an hour wait, they hung up. As of today Resort Recovery Solutions LLC gave me the choice of paying $933 to be reintstated, or $1037.52 to be released from the contract. I don't like either choice but what can I do? Why should buying a vacation package make you worry like this and feel so trapped? If you bother to read the promissory note or contract why in your right mind would you ever sign up for this?

Pero a la Adminisradora de AVALON GRANT PANAMÁ le duele, no se por qué, que también yo tenga los Beneficios y me dice que tiene que "conversar" con otras personas, sin darme explicaciones y sin recibir la nota notariada del miembro que solicita se me añada a los beneficios. Me parece un abuso de esta cadena de hoteles, que no se qué es lo que esconden en beneficios que prometen y no otorgan. nos arruinaron nuestras vacaciones y ahora nos estan arruinando la vida.  Ya les dijimos que por mentirosos no les vamos a pagar nada, el dia de la presentacion nos obligaron a comprar, se que suena imposible, pero asi fue, ademas nos dijeoron mentiras, segun ellos no ibamos  a hacer "ricos"  y en lugar de hacernos ricos con esta membresia nos estamos haciendo pobres, cobran mucho dinero, y ni siquiera tienen disponibilidad, estamos muy molestos y definitivamente no es un lugar que recomendariamos.

I bought a timeshare from Avalon  in Mexico. I already paid $16,000 and I feel that the information at the presentation was misrepresented, a total scam.We were promised numerous things such as free criuses, discount air travel, and others. We have paid 1 payment and will be paying for 20 years for things we can't use.

I purchased a timeshare at Avalonfor $16,500.00 in USD the salesman promised me in writing that he would take into his inventory my 3 pre-existing timeshare properties in 90 days. When the 90 days expired nothing happened, so I contacted him and phone; he simply told me to call him back because he was busy. So, since Dec of 2010, I have been filing charge disputes with my credit company, for $12,500.00 USD. he has refused to issue credit of $12,500.00 USD on all attempts because, he explains, I signed the purchase agreement which was non-cancelable and non-refundable. I was victimized by his false promise, which he used to make me sign the legal document. This is a form of money scam. What that salesman has done to me was fraudulent.

Yo compré una contrato de tiempo compartido poruqe el vendedor  me dijo que despues de 30 años de estar pagando la membrecia,  TODO mi dinero s eme iba a reembolsar con intereses, ademas de poder disfrutar de vacaciones, iba a tener mi dineor de regreso , que iba a ser como si pasara unas vacaciones gratuitas, nunca me dijo que tenía que pagar cada año mantenimiento y  nunca me imagine que todo lo que me estaba diciendo eran mentiras, ya investigue y lei a detalle mi contrato y no dice nada de lo que el vendedor me plactico, hable al hotel para  platicr con el y nunca me loq uieren comunicar. La membrecia me cuesta mucho dinero y es dinero que no pienso seguir dandoles si no me lo van a regresar.

Hello We got a timeshare at Avalon Resorts in 2006, and would like to try to get out of the contract which is for one week every other year until 2030. They told us many things which were not true about the timeshare, such as the maintenance fee would not increase, we could resell weeks, etc and we would like to see if we can get out of the contract somehow so we don't have to keep paying maintenance fees every other year.

We bought a time share from Avalon Grand back in December of 2007, I have never used my so call weeks yet I have been paying for a outrageous maintaince fee. My husband and I feel so helpless after paying so much money and having nothing to show for it.

       bought timeshare cost 15,000.00 with high interest re-financed for lower interest so they were paid in full. i,m still making payments for 5 more years. i can,t afford to use it.

the maintenance fees yearly have gone out of site. they told me if i send them 5,000.00

 more they would void my contract/which i don,t have so i stopped paying the fees.now they put my name into the credit bureau so i can,t get a loan for my sons college. is there anything i can do. they all ready have 15000.00 of my money plus my credit is gone.

We belong to Avalon Resorts. Isla Mujeres is where we joined about 7 or 8 years ago. We went there Nov of 09 for the first time. As I'm sure you know, it's not just a disappointment, it's a joke. We need to get serious about our contract with them. Thank you, Kirk

My husband and I purchased a timeshare at Avalon Reef Club Isla Mujeras last year at this time. We just returned from the resort yesterday. While we were there at the resort the government shut down the resort for tax evasion. My husband and I could not get one straight answer to what was happening. This company not only sold us a timeshare to this resort which has become run down and low quality they were not honest in the contract that we signed. They were to ransfer title in our present Orlando timeshare as part of the contract which they have not done to this day and they lied to us regarding specific information to get us to sign the contract.

We signed a contract with Avalon Vacation Club on 100709 during our honeymoon to Isla Mujeres. We have since changed our minds as we just do not have the money at this time for such a contract. We paid the administration fees that day of 495.00 and we are to pay 1289.25 byt 102809 half is due 102109 and the other half is due on 102809. We just do not have the money at this time as we got home and have been told we have a vehicle4 that was totalled due to hail damage and we alswo have damage to our new home. Can you please advise  us as to how we can go about getting out of this contract. I read about the mexican law that states we have 5 business days in order to cancel
