Royal Holiday doesn’t have the best reputation within the timeshare resorts. Most of their sales are done under high pressure sales tactics, a high number of  members at Royal Holiday feel like they have being lied and scam and most timeshare contracts are being misrepresented.

One of the most common scams at the moment of purchase is that Royal Holiday’s sales person will make you any verbal promise to get you to sign their contract, however the contract clearly states that any verbal promise made by the sales associated are invalid unless those promises are establish within the contract.

Royal Holiday promise one of the best customer service for their members, this only happens if the current member is calling to make a payment and if you have any questions or concerns about your membership the associated is more likely to tell you they will send you all the information over email, well sit thigh because this email will never arrived,  The most common answer to any unhappy member at Royal Holiday is to Upgrade your membership no matter what is that you are unhappy about and you end up paying more for a membership you weren’t happy to begin with.

Booking with Royal Holiday is another issue, at the sales’ pitch, they promise you can travel anywhere at any time you want. This is very untrue, it all depend what points you buy and unfortunate they will always sell you the small point package so at the time you realize you need more points, you will need to upgrade and pay even more money to them.

Most Royal Holiday’s Sales are done outdoors or other locations that aren’t Royal Holiday’s Sales office, as a “courtesy” from them, they will let you purchase and sign their contract at the spot, “hey! You wouldn’t miss the opportunity of a lifetime, right?” So by this the sales associated will briefly explain you the contract as their convenient, probably letting out important information to you. Some sales associated opt for sending all the documents to your home, mean while you enjoy of your holidays or vacations, by the time you get home and read careful the contract you realize your purchase is not what you though It was and even worse realize your recession period is over.

Royal Holiday sales associate tells you are doing a great investment in real estate, another huge lie, timeshare is not nor an investment or real estate, you are leasing a hotel room for a period of time once a year, and therefore you do not own the hotel. It is not an investment because there is not market for resale or renting out your unit therefore no profit.

    When I tried to reserve a vacation I discovered that I have to wait 40-45 days before I reserve a vacation to see if any hotel has a vacancy and then I can go. Meaning that if I want to go for ex. to Cancun I have to wait until there is any vacancy and I can't find then the expiration date end and I can't go any more. Also when you are working you can't take vacation whenever you want.

    de verdad que esta gente ya no sabe como seguir sacandole dinero a uno, si de por si el tiempo compartido no es nada baratito, cada año el mantenimiento aumenta y aumenta demasiado, a mi la verdad que ya se me acabo la ilusion de conservar esto tan inutil

    yo creo que son las peores personas con la que mi familia y yo nos pudimos topar en esta vida, fuimos a vacacionar y por recomendaciones de un aimgo de mi esposa nos recomendo este resort, nos vendieron unas semanas de tiempo compartido , que por cierto carisimas, pero yo pensando en mi familia, jamas las usamos , todo por un disque error de agenda de los vendedores y a pesar de que no fue nuestra culpa, no nos devolvieron el dinero , lo peor estas personas

    We were told by the salesman/assistant manager that it was a new kind of investment and we could write off tax on it but we found out later that it was really just a timeshare service. This is misleading information. He falsely told us that we could easily put the unit up for rent and could earn $780 to pay for the annual maintenant fee. We later found out that it was not guaranteed and it was really hard to rent and that we could receive less a 35% marketing cost. We received so many lies.

    at thisarticle said , they can afford all the promises that they made to you at the start , at least tell you that if you want the services, you need to upgrade your membresy , but the cost of the upgrade is very high , and dont guarantee anything, this kind of tricks are part of their scam process, nobody can understand this people, so if your are looking for some hel , you need to do a research first or just stay away from this resort

    How do I get out of this contract. I told them I was going to stop payment and they said it would affect my credit score. Is this true?? i need to cancel and they are ignoring me, and also when i want to book a week, they told me there are no rooms available.. im tired

    Intente cancelar mi tiempo compartido al cabo de 3 dias de haberlo adquirido, como yo tenia entendido, se tienen 5 dias para cancelarlo y yo estaba dentro del plazo. Resulta que cuando intente hacerlo ellos me dijeron que no tenia ese derecho y que no se reembolsaba absolutamente nada. No puede ser, son unos mentirosos y unos ladrones!

    They scammed me. When you buy a time share and after 4 days try to return it to them, they accept the devolucion and sign my contract copier and said the money will be back to credit card in 5 days and never happened. Now, they said that i have to pay like i'm in contract. What i can do?
