Canto del Sol Timeshare Complaints

I am sorry I did not leave my phone number, but I prefer to initiate this offer via email.  I was wondering what size your unit is and if it is a 2 bedroom unit and is available October 8-15, 2011 would you consider renting it out?

I did not write a review saying anything bad about Canto Del Sol.  I thought I was inquiring about a unit for rent.

My wife and I bought a timeshare at Playa de Sol, in January, 2010. We cancelled the deal in midweek, but were talked out of it with promises that a now defunct brokerage firm would sell both the bonus week and previous timeshares we owned. The promises were not in writing. We attempted to cancel again the following morning, but were told it was too late. The salesman's supervisor kept asking what the salesman had done that was illegal (nothing that we knew of) and said if we cancelled we would forfeit our deposit. She made us sign a statement that we were not signing the deal (in her handwriting), but I wrote beneath our signatures that this was with the understanding that it was too late to cancel the deal.
