Common Complaints:
- Salesperson promised that the towers will be constructed quickly. The construction did not progress for the last 2-3 years and has now stopped altogether. The hotel seems to be only a hole in the ground and the sales presentation room is closed as well.
- Recently clients have been receiving bills and letters for maintenance fees with late charges, despite being promised that they only have to pay a maintenance fee if they use the timeshare. They are threatening to send owners to collections or sue for damages. They are requesting payments to be made directly to the owners account which is in the name of Miguel Coronel Hernandez (supposedly the CEO of the company)
I didn't think Torrenza was one of the most scammers resorts. In fact they offered me a timeshare and I was considering to buy it. What a mistake.
bought torrenza in 2010 it is still a hole in the ground.I was promised to still my timeshares and consolidate and I ended up wth another timeshare. I would like to cancel my contract.help
The same has happened to me. Was contacted by a company who had all y timeshare information say that Torrena was bankrupt and they would buy my TS if I paid an upfront $2,000+. I said NO. i tried to contact Torrenza to discuss this and could not get any response from anyone. Now I just recieved my inflated maintenace bill because I did not pay it on time. Has anyone found a way out of this? Please help.
Nosotros compramos por que nos ofrecieron una venta de otra membresía a fin de poder pagar la de Torrenza lo mas pronto posible. Ellos no nos dijeron todo lo que implicaba la venta de la otra membresia. Me comunico con ellos y la unica solucion que me dan es que pierda mi dinero. Les dimos mas de 21mil pesos. Torrenza es un FRAUDE.
We have been in the process of trying to cancel a timeshare contract with Torrenza since October, 2009, because we feel that they have been deceitful and not following thru with (mostly verbal) promises. Currently preparing Profeco claim against Torrenza. We would like to cancel our contract with Torrenza, and also pursue getting any reimbursement of $ paid to Torrenza. Saw your website and would like to talk with you about cancelling our contract. We feel helpless in this matter and have been lied to and scammed by several companies to the tune of several thousands of dollars. We are skeptical of anyone's claims.
Hello, I am a Torrenza Mazatlan owner who, like many others, have been deceived by Torrenza's claims to have the property open within 10 months (as of last July). As the property is not available and other promises of Cruises, less expensive hotel stays, etc. via TradingPlaces simply have not materialized, I am interested in canceling my contract with Torrzena. I currently have a loan with Torrenza (approx $300 US per month) and am interested in ending the payments, as the benefits simply have not occurred as promised.
Tengo un contrato con Torrenza Mazatlan he pagado alrededor de 15,000 usd. y estoy a unos pagos de terminar, pero por lo que he oido el edificio que iba a estar terminado en el 2010, es solo un hoyo. prometieron rentar mis semanas a $1900 usd por año durante 10 años. por lo que pague otros 999 usd. Todo fue mentira y quiero recuperar mi dinero. Nunca he utilizado la membresía.
