Writen on: 2009-11-17 12:32:41On Dec. 15th 2007, we purchased a timeshare in Cancun at Blue Bay Resort ( now Temptation Resort). We purchased \"accelarated\" points (5,598,864) along with 6 bonus weeks at then Blue Bay now Temptation Resorts. We purchased the Points to be used with RCI Exchange Program with NO limits for airfare, rental cars & hotels/resorts. Now we are told through RCI that we are limited to 60,000 points per year on airfare & rental cars etc. with the contract expiring in 25 years we would never be able to use them all. The staff at the time, knew we already owned 2 timeshares & were purchasing the points for airfare travel to and from our destinations.
Purchase Price (paid in full) was 22,500 plus 2 timeshares 3,000 which equaled to 25,500. We met other people that were there the same time that week & are as frustrated as we are.
